Personal:

I am majoring in biology and have two minors in hispanic studies and psychology. I was fortunate to complete my hispanic studies minor by studying abroad for a semester in Spain. My personal goals with my major are to build a base of scientific knowledge to bring to graduate school and to be fluent in Spanish.
After graduation I plan to earn a master degree in genetic counseling in order to provide services to individuals with genetic disorders and couples planning on having children.

I chose St. John's because of its excellent academics, beautiful campus and arboretum, and positive track team culture. It also--as cheesy as it sounds--just felt like "home."

My funniest memory while being on the team was when I put black dye in my (red) hair for a conference meet and it didn't come out...for two months.

Q & A:

Q: Which coach would you pick to live on a deserted island with and why?

A: I'd pick Time Miles because he'd have enough stories to tell to fill the 6 months until we are rescued.

Q: If you were in the coliseum and were challenged to fight wiener dogs, what is the highest number of wiener dogs you could defeat?

A: Infinite.

Q: Would you rather be the world's greatest racquetball player or have $20 right now?

A: I would rather be the world's greatest racquetball player so that I could challenge others to a match and make way more than $20.
